Blessings in a Backpack – We work with local organizations to provide backpacks of nutritious, child-friendly, easy-to-prepare food for hungry children during school breaks.
Breakfast with Santa– We invite the children of Saline County and their families to a Christmas event. We serve a nutritious meal, the children play games, do crafts, and most importantly, get a visit with Santa Claus! All children receive a gift from Junior Auxiliary and Santa.
JA On Call – Junior Auxiliary works with local schools and organizations to help provide for urgent needs that may arise. This includes
providing clothing, school supplies, medical needs to name just a few.
Gathering of Dreams – The Junior Auxiliary of Saline County selects a family that has encountered financial difficulties, and we provide financial and emotional support for the family throughout the year to help them get back on their feet.
Food and Mood – The ladies of the Junior Auxiliary work with the local middle schools and present a program to female students that promotes healthy body image. This program provides information about diet and nutrition, body image, and eating disorders.
Baby Bundles – We provide bathtubs stuffed with baby essentials to new mothers in Saline County through local pregnancy outreach programs.
Tools for Schools – We provide school supplies to teachers and students at some of the local elementary schools.
